No, this is certainly not mandatory. If you wish, you can buy your ticket from the ticket desk on the day. It is, however, possible to buy it in advance via the website, so you can be certain you can visit the exhibition at the desired time.
Unfortunately, this is not possible. You book a ticket for a certain time slot, and you are given half an hour’s grace from that time. You may, in other words, arrive up to half an hour later than the booked time. After that, your ticket is no longer valid. It is not possible to visit the exhibition before the selected time slot.
You can only hire the audio guides from the ticket desk on the day of your visit (subject to availability).
No, but please print the attachment (in pdf format) of the e-mail and bring it along on the day of your visit. The attachment contains a barcode that will be scanned at the ticket desk. The e-mail itself is not sufficient to access the exhibition.

No, your entrance ticket gives you access to ‘1000 jaar geschiedenis van Oudenaarde’ (1000 years of Oudenaarde history), the ‘wandtapijtencollectie’ (tapestry collection), the ‘zilvercollectie’ (silver collection) and the Adriaen Brouwer exhibition.
The museum closes at 6 p.m. every day, except Thursdays, so ticket sales at the desk will close at 5 p.m. It is possible to buy a ticket online for the last time slot between 5 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. On Thursdays, when the museum is open until 10 p.m., the last tickets are sold at 9 p.m. at the desk (online tickets between 9 p.m. and 9.30 p.m.).
Please note: the museum closes at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., respectively.
With pre-purchased online tickets for 5 p.m. or 9 p.m., it is possible to arrive up to half an hour after the specified time.

No, the Museum Pass is only valid in the MOU Museum from 1 January 2019.
This is an art project in the Church of Our Lady of Pamele. The works of art are only exhibited there, and not anywhere else in the city.

There are no combi tickets, but on presentation of your Adriaen Brouwer entrance ticket, you get a €1 discount at Charivari and a €2 discount at the exhibition in the Centrum Ronde Van Vlaanderen (Tour of Flanders Centre).
